It was extremely late. Angelina wasn’t sure of the time
since she’d had her nose stuck in a mystery book, but she knew that, at this
hour, no one should be banging on her door. Quick as a flash, she grabbed her
wand and slowly crept toward the door. Squinting, she looked through the peep
hole and breathed a sigh of relief.
“What the bloody hell are you doing here?” she asked as she
swung the door open.
Zacharias opened his mouth to reply, but turned green and
proceeded to vomit all over her floor. Well, that most certainly answered her
question. Poor thing never would have made his way back to Hogwarts on his own.
With a flick of her wand, the mess before them vanished. “Alright,
let’s get you to bed.”
Gently, she slipped her arm around his back and guided him toward
her couch. The trip was a bit difficult, but they finally made it, and Angelina
helped Zacharias ease himself down on her couch.
“Ouch,” he muttered and pulled her book out from under him.
“Sorry about that,” she said as she reached for the book. “I
was doing a bit of reading. Will you be alright here?”
“Think so,” he slurred. “Thanks.”
“Don’t worry about it.” She ruffled the Hufflepuff’s hair
before heading back to her room to finish her book.
George reached over and gently took the feather from Angie’s hands, examining it before handing it back to her. He was impressed, it was a simple transfiguration but still was perfectly done and the feather was “That’ll do, better than going through the trouble of trying to convince him to lend us a feather. Though, the idea of sneaking into his office and nicking a few feathers sounded better than transfiguring one. Where’s the adventure in that, Ange?”
There was no helping the eye roll. “I’m sorry I ruined your
adventure, George, but I don’t think it’s a good idea to break into your new colleague’s
office to steal a feather. Surely they’d think we were trying to play a prank
on him if we got caught.” Though she joked about it, Angelina did not want to
get George in trouble with at work. He was going through enough for as is, no
need to add getting fired to that list.
Are they more analytical or more emotional in their decision-making?
It depends on the situation. Most of the time she is very analytical,
especially after becoming Quiddtich captain, but if someone she cares about is
in trouble, her emotions take over, and she doesn’t really think through her
actions.
Preferred mode of dress and rituals surrounding dress
It varies depending on the season. Usually she just wears jeans
and a nice top, but if it’s summer she wears shorts and the occasional crop
top. She does have dresses, but she rarely wears them unless she has a reason
to, i.e. a date or going out to a club. Also, she has specific clothes that she
wears to clubs and parties; mostly consisting of leather.
If they were to fall in love, who (or what) is their ideal?
She definitely wants someone she can trust, which is
difficult since she has trust issues. Also, a person who can take ninety percent
of what she says as a grain of salt because, let’s face it, homegirl gets
pretty sarcastic sometimes. Basically just someone she can hang out with and be
herself around and do fun (sometimes dirty) things with.
She reads a lot of sports and fashion related magazines. She
definitely wouldn’t read romance unless she was just in the mood for smut. Her
favorite is probably a thriller or mystery because she likes to read the
feeling of suspense she gets while reading it.
Do they have any plans for the future? Any contingency plans if things don’t work out?
As of right now, no. Her only plan is to stay in Hogsmeade and
work her shop. Mainly, this is because her sister is sick, and she can’t think
past the next few years without imagining her dead. If something were to happen
and her shop was shut down, I feel like she would take a break from the wizarding
world and go back home to her dad. After a few years, she’d probably return and
find a way to get involved with Quidditch again.
